Description
Rijsel takes both its name and its inspiration from the border city of Lille. Named after the Dutch word for Lille, this rotisserie restaurant in Amsterdam offers a small regularly-changing menu of skilfully prepared, classic French dishes inspired by the food of Flanders.
Simplicity, skill and quality
The unfussy, but inviting dé:cor is light and bright. With its open kitchen and emphasis on quality, it&rsquo:s clear that Rijsel believes in substance over style. The freshly-baked madeleines are worth a visit alone.
