In a tiny, cosy spot on the Elandsgracht is Balthazar?s Keuken. One literally sits in the kitchen and watches the cooks prepare tasty dishes. The idea is that you should feel like you?re eating at a friend?s house: good friends who can cook brilliantly of course. The owners like to glean inspiration when shopping at the market so there is a changing (and refreshingly affordable) three course menu with a choice between fish and meat.
